Before your Installation

Firstly we will need some form of survey of your property to work out the best place for the charger to be located so that it’s convenient to you but can also be easily connected to the power supply.

This can be done by:-

You send us a video walkthrough as per the example click here to watch it.

A video call where we will run through it with you

Send us the following pictures:-

A photo of your off street parking (E.g. Driveway or garage)

A photo of your fuse board(s)/consumer unit within the property, including the garage if applicable – see example below

A photo of your electric meter with all cables and fuses visible – see example below

A photo of your gas/water bonding (A green/yellow cable that runs from the fuse board to the stop tap of the incoming gas and incoming water with a clamp, see below example) – see example below

A simple diagram of your property layout, showing the fuse board location, water bonding & gas meter and where you would like the charge point fitted- see example below

On the Day

Whilst our installers are on site they will need somewhere safe to park, use of a power socket and access to welfare facilities (i.e. a toilet, handwashing facilities. etc) The install should take about 3 hours and our installers will test the system before they leave.

Our team will do their best to leave your property as clean and tidy as possible but please bear in mind that, due to the nature of the drilling required, there may be a small amount of dust created.

After the Installation

Our chargers come with a 1 year full warranty and a 3 year parts warranty.

We will notify all the relevant bodies of the installation and send you a certificate for the installations for your records.

If there is a problem with the charger you need to let us know as soon as possible by calling on 01635 529090 or emailing [email protected] . We will need to know the serial number of the charger, the date of installation and a brief explanation of the fault. One of our technicians will then contact you to get further details and, if necessary, arrange a call out.

It is important that no-one tries to install, modify or repair the charger other than one of our approved technicians as this will void the warranty.
